The Queensland Resources Council (QRC) is the peak body for the mining and energy sector in Queensland. QRC works on behalf of members to ensure Queensland’s resources are developed profitably and competitively; in a socially and environmentally sustainable way.
Andrew has been with QRC since May 2005. As QRC’s Director - Industry Policy, Andrew manages an industry policy team who work with members to develop practical policies across a portfolio of issues such as:
→ the pricing and availability of key infrastructure inputs for the industry such as rail, ports and water
→ exploration for minerals and petroleum
→ regulatory and legislative reforms, including the recent Land Access reforms.
Andrew has an Honours degree in Economics from the University of Queensland.
